Painting Diary

This is not writing on a plane.

I’m on a plane and it seems to be an appropriate time to have read through Julian Dashpers ‘This is not writing.’ (check it out here).

After 30 minutes or so I want to simultaneously call each and every person associated with the book and say how great this is. But I probably won’t. But I might.

The guy next to me is sketching out what looks to be a gridded abstraction on a note pad. Although this slowly reveals itself to be a floor-plan of a bathroom. The pad by the way is called a ‘Topless Pad’. I can’t help but think that Julian would enjoy this scenario.

It feels like a verb.

I’m out like nouns.
(Also, yes S/F I still owe you $5.)
